2011 YEAR END NEWSLETTER
We have just completed another year and the good news is that it was improved over the previous year. There were more visitors, more people looking at Real estate for sale and for rent. We are much encouraged by this and look forward to the continuance of this situation

Killington Homes statistics
Currently there are 22 residential homes on the market in Killington. The asking prices range from $179,900 to $1,495,000
There was 7 houses sold from Jan 1, 2011 to Dec 31, 2011 ranging in closing cost from $149,000 to $530,000
Killington Homes sales statistics for 2010
Only one house sold in 2010 for $149,000.
Killington Condominiums statistics
Currently there are 114 condominium units on the market ranging in asking price from $39,500 to $650,000
There was 53 units sold in 2011 ranging in closing prices from $8,000 for a comfort inn unit to $650,000 for a topridge unit.
Killington Condominiums sales statistics for 2010
Condominium sales in 2010 were 27 with closing prices ranging from $10,000 for a Mountain Green unit to $650,000 for a Topridge unit
Killington Land statistics
Currently there are 19 pieces of land on the market ranging in price from $15,000 to $399,900 and the lot sizes are from 0.8 acres to 27.5 acres.
Four (4) pieces of land sold in 2011 with a selling price range of $35,000 to $240,000 and ranging in size from 1.84 acres to 44 acres.

There were 4 sales in 2010 with selling prices from $10,000 to $137,000 and the lot sizes are from 0.9 acres to 10.49 acres.
As you can see Killington statistics have improved.

Interesting that 14 homes sold in 2010 ranging in closing costs from $105,000 to $625,000.
We suspect that Tropical storm Irene probably played and important part in these statistics

Only two (2) condominiums sold in 2011 selling price range was $150,000 to $270,000
